Democracy That Delivers

Programs to counter violent extremism and building the economic institutions of democracy in North Africa are just two of the topics featured on a new podcast launched by the Center for International Private Enterprise. Focusing on democratic and economic development around the world, the podcast features guests who are tackling some of the major governance issues that many countries face today. The weekly podcast, Democracy That Delivers, is co-hosted by CIPE Communications Director Ken Jaques and Senior Communications Manager Julie Johnson.

Discussions cover a wide range of topics including entrepreneurship, governance, rule of law, and the role of the private sector in democratic processes. Recent conversations include State Department counterterrorism expert Irfan Saeed discussing programs to counter violent extremism and CIPE’s Pamela Beecroft on building the economic institutions of democracy in North Africa.
