Latin America & the Liberal World Order

The latest report from NED grantee Global Americans, “Latin America & the Liberal World Order,” tracks the foreign policies of Latin American governments with respect to human rights norms and democracy standards. Join a distinguished group of panelists including Secretary General of the OAS, Luis Almagro, as they discuss the findings of the report, which include the quality of recent election observation missions, limits to civil society and NGOs in multiple countries, and how government changes are affecting human rights and democracy in countries such as Argentina, Brazil, and Peru.
