The Crisis of Democracy and Women’s Rights in the Americas is the subject of a discussion hosted by the Inter-American Dialogue, featuring Larissa Arroyo, director of Asociacion Ciudadana Acceder – ACCEDER; Catalina Botero, University of Los Andes; Miriam Kornblith, director for Latin America and the Caribbean at the National Endowment for Democracy; Julissa Mantilla, Pontifical Catholic University of Peru; Maria Antonieta Alcalde, director of the UN Liaison Office and director of advocacy at the International Planned Parenthood Federation; Catalina Martinez-Coral, regional director for Latin America & the Caribbean at the Center for Reproductive Rights; and Michael Shifter, president of IAD.
